1) ECM Generation & Calibrations
- CM871 → CM2250 → CM2350: keep the ECM family aligned to your chassis electronics and dash.
- Verify calibration (governed speed, torque curve) and VIN-matching needs with your shop.
- Read and clear legacy inactive faults before shipment to avoid ghost issues.
2) EGR / SCR / DPF Fit Notes
- Confirm NOx sensor style/position, doser hardware, and DPF orientation.
- Pressure-test charge-air system; small leaks kill fuel economy and regen behavior.
- Capture ash load, regen count, and doser history prior to install.
3) Mechanical Baselines
- Hot idle oil pressure, rail pressure tracking, and VGT actuation plausibility.
